Available in: Metric Square Keys from 3mm to 16mm and only sold in 300mm lengths, Imperial Key Steel range is similar from size 3/16” to 1” and is sold in 12” lengths both are only available in 304 grade stainless steel, The Rectangular Key Steel range however is only available in 316 grade stainless and in sizes from 8mm x 7mm through to 20mm x 12mm and in 1 meter lengths but can be cut to 100mm increments, though cut lengths are not able to be returned for credit.

Key Steel is quick and easy to use and can be removed for repair purposes, however special machinery is required to create keyways in shafts and key slots in couplings, bosses etc. Each Key needs to be individually fitted to shaft coupling. Key Steel is in wide spread use in the Marine, Dairy, Chemical and General Engineering industries for shaft driving applications.
