Applications

  • Residential Plumbing: Ideal for potable water lines, ensuring quick and secure connections without the need for soldering
  • Commercial Buildings: Used in plumbing and HVAC systems where speed and safety are crucial
  • Industrial Applications: Suitable for gas distribution, compressed air systems, and chemical lines
  • Hydronic Heating and Cooling Systems: Efficiently used in systems that require quick installation and minimal downtime
  • Greywater and Rainwater Systems: Effective for non-potable water systems
  • Fuel, Oil, and Lubricant Lines: Provides secure connections for various fluid transport systems

Connection Process

The press fit system relies on mechanically joining pipes and fittings using a sealing O-ring and pressing tool.

  • The O-ring is positioned in the U-groove at the end of the fitting.
  • The pipe is then inserted into the fitting up to its insertion depth limit.
  • A pressing tool is used to create a mechanical deformation at the fitting, securing the connection and compressing the O-ring to form a leak-proof seal.
  • The resulting polygonal pressing profile varies depending on the diameter and may appear hexagonal or triangular-like.
