Our new Self Drilling Timber to Metal (TTM) screws are designed to attach timber to steel and can self drill through up to 8mm steel. Its star drive head gives greater torque when installing the screw. Its wings create a clearance hole in the timber, eliminating the need to pre-drill the hole.

The screw is a Ruspert coated steel screw. The Ruspert coating provides corrosion resistance and is made up of three layers (from top to bottom):

A baked ceramic surface coating; a high grade anti-corrosion chemical conversion film and a metallic zinc layer.
