Designed specifically for hardwood and composite decking applications, this bit creates a clean pilot hole and countersink in a single operation, helping achieve a neat, professional finish while reducing the risk of screw heads not pulling into the timber.

1) Regular shank, making it compatible with all impact drivers and drills for seamless integration into your toolkit.
2) Using an Allen key, you can precisely set the drilling and countersinking depth to match your specific screws, offering ultimate customisation for your project.
3) A rotating guard helps indicate the optimal point to stop countersinking, minimising the risk of unwanted marks or the ‘halo effect’ on timber surfaces, enhancing the quality of your finish.
4) Standard 3.2mm drill bit, which is easy to replace and offers an unlimited range of depth settings for maximum versatility.
For best results in decking & cladding, we recommend pre-drilling and pre-countersinking holes with the AM Adjustable Countersink Bit.
Pre-drilling may be necessary in extremely hard timbers.
